These are just a few of the literally thousands of expressions of thanks I have received. As a matter of fact I have received so many that I haven't the time or space to post them all. But please keep sending them. I love to read your success stories! The most recent was received on June 6th, 2006. (All names have been removed to assure complete privacy).
Doug,
I am an applicant for a position with the FBI. Prior to my polygraph examination I was warned not to research polygraph testing procedures on the internet. I was specifically told to stay away from your site, www.polygraph.com. I did not do any research, I took my polygraph test, I told the truth, and yes, I FAILED! I am so mad, at them, and at myself for being so stupid. I am going to get your manual and DVD, and try again. This time I am going to be prepared.
Hi again Doug! I just got back from my second poly test, and guess what, I BEAT THAT DAMN POLYGRAPH ... thanks to your manual. I wish I knew about your manual before my first test. It could have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Everything that you said to accomplish in the manual, I've applied and it worked. And for those who might read this e-mail, I'm telling you that Doug's manual really works and the DVD can help you a lot too (not a paid advertisement). So don't even think twice of not getting it. I am a living proof that it works. It was worth the investment. Now I have peace of mind and can continue on with my life. Doug, again, a million thanks to you and your manual. I owe my future to you. Please leave my name out of this e-mail if you will publish it.
Doug:
Your private instruction works! It was a go, repeat a go! I may have passed without a practice testby just using your manual and DVD, but the peace of mind the extra training gave me was worth every penny. Any time I had any doubt about whether I could do it, all I had to do was look at the charts I took home from my practice test. I was completely confident when I went in for the real polygraph test. I knew I would pass because I had already done it once. And I did, I passed! I sincerely thank you for all your help, if you were here I would give you a big hug!
Doug, Thank you! I PASSED MY FINAL POLYGRAPH TEST WITH ...........Flying COLORS
Doug,
Yes the technique in your manual and DVD works on the computerized polygraphs just like you said it would. Re: 3.0 SERIES STOELTING COMPUTERIZED POLYGRAPH INSTRUMENT (PORTABLE), THE COMPUTER RESULTS CAME BACK WITH A 97% TRUTHFULNESS!!!
Doug,
You have again made another believer (and success story!). I took my polygraph last week and STUNG it just as you said I would. I will have to tell you that I did have to practice for about 2 1/2 hours. It only took me 30 minutes to master the techniques, but I had to build my confidence level in order to achieve the required result! Yes, I did lie, but it was necessary for me to save my marriage! The person giving the polygraph exam commented that he had no doubt I was telling the truth! Thanks Again!
Doug , I failed two polygraph tests, I then got your manual and passed the next one easily. Thanks
Doug, I just used the technique in your manual & DVD and I passed my polygraph test! The polygraph operator actually used the word "pristine" in describing my chart. Thanks!!!!
Doug Williams,
Your credentials are very impressive, I must say. I've been to your website, and that long list of experience sure beats all those losers out there trying to move their worthless crap... you're THE MAN.
I really appreciate the time that you took to answer my questions and also thank you for the informational package that I purchased from you I can not tell you how much it has changed my future.
Thanks,
A grateful mom and her kids
Doug,
I'm back from XXXXXX and...............I passed. I know you get thousands of these letters, but I do want to thank you. We went through the test 3 times, he said in order to have consistency. Afterwards he said that I didn't appear to be deceiving him about anything. His only concern was that I was too relaxed. He was bragging about his new machine because it was a computer generated digital machine which was 100 times more accurate than the box. By the way, the first thing he asked when I entered the room was, "Have you heard of this Doug Williams Internet guy. He is stealing from people actually trying to convince them that the polygraph can actually be beaten. He's so full of ..it." I tried not to smile and just nodded with him in amazement that anyone would be foolish enough to try and beat a polygraph. Thanks again.Doug, I just watched your training DVD. It was great! It really helped me understand the techniques. Thanks.
Doug,
I am requesting that you publish this testimonial on your testimonial page for those who
may be like me. I am the type of person who has to know everything about something I
do. I anticipated having to take a polygraph for a LE job sometime during the year. I decided to do some investigating as to the validity of a
polygraph and find any possible way of preparing for it. Fortunately for me, I came across
your site by absolute chance. I purchased your manual. I began reading it and practicing
the concepts over the next 12 months. I have to admit I am a slow study with certain
things, this being one of them. I practiced your instructions in my car, on airplanes,
sitting in class, typing on the computer. I wanted to make sure I would pass the test when
the time came. Of course the time fast approached and I felt I needed a little extra help.
You may not remember me from our phone conversations or e-mails, but I will tell you that
there were many. Each time, you provided me a drill instructor type push, instructing and
mentally preparing me to make sure I would pass the test. Well, I passed. I know
youre not surprised, but I was
. This is a big THANK YOU.
Doug, God bless you! You saved my life. I was telling the truth but there was no way I could have passed without your manual.
Doug, I just purchased another one of your manuals online - that is the only way I can think of to thank you.
(An important note from Doug Williams) I got a call Saturday morning from a guy who bought a manual from one of those little wannabe jerks who has the audacity to call himself my "competition" on his website. The guy who called said he could not understand the manual he had purchased because it was very confusing and contradictory. He said he tried to call to get some questions answered but there was no phone number listed on the website, so he emailed the question but he got no answer. I told him it wouldn't have done him any good even if he did get to ask his questions since they don't know any more than he does - I also told him what I thought of the crap he had bought. He agreed it was worthless and told me he now wanted to order my manual and DVD, especially since I answered the phone on the second ring at 9:30 on Saturday morning. I explained to him how to get my manual and DVD, and he ordered immediately. Don’t make the same mistake - get my manual first and know for sure you can get me on the phone 7 days a week, and when you do get me I will give you solid, expert advise . Oh by the way, this guy did pass his polygraph test with no problem using my manual and DVD.
This is what he told me after he passed the test "Doug, I'm sure glad I got properly prepared, underline properly just like you do on your website because it is very important."

Doug,
Your manual is like a sweet, 30 year old, single malt scotch, straight up. I feel relaxed after reading it. It's so funny and well written. I can't stop re-reading it. Write a novel for goodness sakes, it would be a best seller.
Dear Doug,
Okay, I'll admit it. When I first started all of this I was skeptical (okay,
downright doubtful). I was scheduled for a polygraph, and not trusting the process,
found your website. Also, trying to get both sides of the subject, I also
investigated the typical "pro-polygraph" sites who from what I have learned are
almost exclusively run by people who make their money off of the industry (not very
objective) I purchased your manual, read it. Did I get ripped off? After all,
every pro-poly site I found mentioned you and how any qualified examiner could
see right through your techniques. You were called a charlatan, a snake oil salesman
and various other less than desirable names which I am sure you have heard all too many
times. I read how you never returned emails, and how your only motive was to make a
buck. I was convinced I was going to be your next sucker. After all, PhD's,
FBI agents, and the Department of Defense all were unanimous...you CANNOT BEAT THE
POLYGRAPH!!!!
Well, if you remember correctly, although I had my doubts I dedicated myself to mastering
your
techniques. I was the perfect student, practicing until I knew I had mastered what
you had taught. I sent a lot of emails - all of which were responded to within 30 minutes.
In the end, scared to death, I took the test. The result you ask? The
"sophisticated, unfoolable computer" came back with an over 99%
probability of truthfulness (+8). The examiner commented on how impossible it
was that I had lied or that I had used any kind of countermeasures (those he said would
have been easily spotted). Perfect charts...just like you promised. I am writing you this
letter to let you know how grateful I am that you are doing what you are doing. I
can never thank you enough. And I am forever indebted to you. I will never
forget the service you have provided me and others. Your manual is worth 10X the
price.
Doug:
I just wanted to say thanks for the stinger method. I recently
failed a polygraph even though I was totally truthful. I purchased the stinger and
prepared for my upcoming exam. I passed with flying colors!
Dear Doug:
I firmly believe the testimonials that you have received and feel that you are nothing
less than an American hero. You have made your case against the polygraph in a clear,
logical scientific
manner. By comparison, I have never read one bit of real scientific justification for the
rather bold claim that this machine that measures various responses of the human body is
"nearly 100 % accurate" as a "lie detector:" As an electrical
engineer who has studied signal processing and statistics at the graduate level, I would
really like to see the documentation behind the supposed tests which were preformed to
make this claim! Indeed my security
officer, a straight arrow if you ever saw one, confessed to me that had never passed a
polygraph and that he was constantly being called back for re-testing. I think he had
taken at least 6 or 7 polygraphs in less than a year! He ended up quitting his job.
I think that America's Founding Fathers would be very
proud of your work Doug.
Dear Doug, I am a police Sergeant...I work in the field but also am a Police Polygrapher, I have recently been accused of some misconduct, that I did not do. I think I will be asked to take a Polygraph, problem is I have given about 500 exams and I feel that I did exactly what I was trained to do, but I feel that some people have lied, but passed, and some have told the truth and failed......Being that I am anticipating taking a polygraph, I took one in reference to the allegations, I told the truth but came up inconclusive, I know it's better than failing...But I Told the Truth..I did not attempt any
countermeasures, I frankly don't know how.....I don't want to lose my Law Enforcement career, for something I didn't do....I can't believe I am so afraid of polygraph, being an examiner myself......well maybe that's why it scares me, cause I know it has problems...... Please help, what should I do??
(Of course, he got my manual, and then I got this message.)I can see that you're not doing this for the money, and you really want to help people. I will let you know the results.
Thanks! I passed!!!..
Thank you Doug, as always, your book is invaluable - and you DO reply to emails. Thanks again.
..
Doug, All I can say is "You are a f---ing genius!!" I passed and it is all because of you!
Doug,
Took the test a few days ago and even though I was prepared I couldn't help but be a
little nervous, especially after being told that several guys had already come up
inconclusive(failed). Then when I was getting ready to go in for the ordeal the guy
who was coming out of the internal affairs office ahead of me looked as though
someone had just shot his dog; I think he failed. My guy was very friendly
and would laugh and add his own comments to my youthful indiscretions in order to get
me to run-off at the mouth and say much more than I should. Thanks to you I knew
better. I was very honest and forthright, however, I had no intention of
shooting myself in the foot.
What it boils down to is, I could have told the guy that
I was from Mars, taught Hendrix to play the guitar, and had recently seen Elvis at
the Krispy Kreme and would have produced a truthful chart. Needless to say,
I left the office in good spirits and the job is well within my grasp.
Thanks.
Doug,
THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION, THE STING HAS PREVAILED
Greetings from another satisfied customer.
Recently I faced having to submit to a polygraph examination. Without detailing all
the events leading to this dilemma, the bottom line consequence to me would amount to
payment of a considerable sum of money, if I failed the test.
Internet research into the science and nature of the polygraph examinations always led me
to the same URL, www.polygraph.com. I was
reluctant to spend $50 on promises supported by testimonials and alleged facts regarding
the testing. When I could no longer delay the inevitable, I paid for and received
your pamphlet. Had I gotten my money's worth? I had serious doubts.
After reading and rereading, "How to Sting the Polygraph," I applied myself to
learning the techniques described. What was the result, you ask? As you described,
the examiner established himself as a well trained licensed professional, pointing out
that he had spent 20 years with the US Army doing polygraph examinations. His
training had been received in
the same classes taken by all federal agencies such as the FBI and CIA. I was most
impressed. In addition, as you described, I was told about the scientific basis for
the validity of polygraph examinations.
Before the actual examination commenced, I was given the questions which the examiner was
going to ask. He encouraged me to answer them as I would once I was attached to the
machine. I was able to recognize control questions for what they were. I was
given the results of the examination fifteen minutes later. I had passed the test,
answering all the relevant questions truthfully. In conclusion, your approach worked,
your information helped, and I avoided dire financial consequences. It was all worth
the cost and time spent! I certainly would encourage anyone faced with a polygraph
test to purchase your product.
Thanks,
Thank you Doug. You take time and respond to each and every
single email. You are a good man.
Dear Doug,
YOU ARE A GOD!!!! It
worked! This guy, if you recall, I asked you if
you were familiar with him. Well, he was familiar with YOU! He was going
through his schpiel about how you can't beat a polygraph, telling me
everything you said, but in reverse. The he says "there's even this guy on
the internet, if you send him $50.00 he'll send you something about how to
beat a polygraph". He told me that what you sold was not going to work and
any good polygrapher could detect it. Something about it not being a reaction.
I got a little nervous at that, but I prevailed. He told me that the GSR
sensors measured the electricity in my body, strike one for him! Then he gave me the test. I was nervous, but I got through it.
Then he had me
pick a number off of ones he wrote on a piece of paper and lie about the one
I picked. I used the technique, and he bought it! I guess he should have spent $50.00! The reading on his game showed
EXACTLY what I told the machine to say. Then he gave me a second test. This
time I was REALLY
confident. When I was finished, he looked at the graph and said "you
passed". I stung him but GOOD! A MILLION THANKS TO YOU! You have made me a
very
happy man. It was more than worth what I paid for it.
PS: I out and out lied to this guy. He was so
sure of his machine, that he didn't even consider any other possibilities.
WOOHOOO, Doug, you won't believe it, a deputy called me this morning and told me that I had passed my polygraph. You're the man! Your tactics are sooooooo good. And you are so right! Anyways, I just wanted to thank you so much, and to let you know that you helped put one more good cop on the streets. Thanks again.
Subject: Best $47.00 I ever spent!!!
Doug,
I am forever grateful. It worked. Period. My polygraph was conducted EXACTLY the way you described it, and the methods you teach worked flawlessly. I can't thank you enough. The polygrapher was so convinced, he didn't ask me about a single question after the test. No interrogation, no post test interview, nothing. He actually commented on how easy I was to test! Thank you again, and keep up the good work.
P.S. The truth is out there......
JUST GOT THE WORD - PASSED THE POLY !
I want to take this time to Thank You for your help.
Dear Doug,
I did it Doug, I passed my specific polygraph test and I owe a lot of it to you and your manual. It was money well spent. I will forever be an advocate to outlaw polygraphs and to your techniques. I would like to thank you once again for your personal concern and expert advice I received with the manual. If anyone out there is ever asked to take a polygraph, your manual is a must read.
Hi Doug,
I took my second polygraph this morning and passed both tests. He had all
new questions and used a slightly different approach but your method worked.
When I took the first test I was very uptight due to my ignorance. I knew I
was telling the truth. I just wished I'd have known your information for the
first one. It would have saved me two weeks of anxiety and panic.
Thanks,
My, the way it worked!
My son passed the test and said the entire process was just as you had said. Thanks so much for your help.
Hello Doug;
I just wanted to tell you I passed the polygraph!
The examiner said if I was not completely truthful on all of the questions
there would be no way I would pass. The agency prided themselves on having
"the most comprehensive" polygraph examination anywhere; it was digital:
hooked up to laptop computers and they were mixing in the control questions
and gave me a 3 hour pretest and everything. It was physically and mentally
exhausting!!!!!!!!!!! But I passed. Thanks Doug!!!!!!!!! Most Sincerely,
Last year I bought your manual on "How to sting the polygraph." Today I finally got to try the clever tactics you described in your manual at a polygraph for the position of Police Officer in the City of XXXXX. It worked very well and I was able to pass my polygraph. Many of my friends did not understand why I spent the $50 for the manual. They all thought it was a waste of my money but now I can prove them wrong. Two years ago I had a problem at the XXXXX polygraph. They said that I had failed the test. The really funny part was that the day before at another Police agency I had passed the polygraph with no problems. It was the exact same test. Anyways Thank You very much for the great tips and it was well worth the money!!!!!!
OK, I'm sold :) It worked like a
charm. I took my polygraph and passed with flying colors. The polygrapher told
me "I wish all people were as easy to test as you are." I considered
this a REAL compliment, since I have always had trouble in the past taking various
"lie detector" tests. I used the techniques you discuss and am very
pleased with the results. Thanks a
million! This was definitely worth the few $$ paid!
First, I received this e-mail...
Doug:
I'm going to take the test in a few hours. I'm freaking out about this. I just can't believe it's as easy as your manual states. I got it last night and read it three times. I'm worried about breathing reactions. I'm afraid they will call me on my plan. I mean, they know about this too, right? I'm afraid even the truth will show lies for me. I will be so nervous about nothing really. Well, I'm leaving in about 45 mins so I probably won't hear from you but I'll let you know how it went tonight. Scared as Hell,
To which I responded immediately......
Basically telling him that the manual works, and not to worry because I don't teach so called "countermeasures", I simply teach people how to produce a perfect "truthful" chart.
After the test, this e-mail was received......
It works!!! Enough said. Plain and simple. It works!!!
Dear Doug,
it is with gratitude in my heart that I am writing to thank you. My 14 year old son, received an "inconclusive" on a polygraph test from an ex-cop polygrapher, who tried to break my son and harass him into an admission. I did nothing to prepare him for the experience and in my estimation, failed him and his trust. To his credit, he did not break under the tremendous pressure and stress placed on him by the polygrapher/mental terrorist... I purchased your information, in order to put my sons mind at ease and help him prepare, prior to taking a second polygraph test at his attorney's request...
This morning, my 14 year old son, again disappeared behind closed doors, with a complete stranger...but this time when he emerged, he walked up to mewith his head high, told me that he'd passed...the polygrapher then informed me that my son had scored an 18 on his charting results and that was absolutely, UNDENIABLY....INNOCENT and that he passed with a perfect score.
The walk to the car, with my son, was quiet, but then once in, he beamed at me...and said that he wasn't scared or nervous in the least...He knew from the moment he went in, that he was being lied to...and without pause, informed me that had indeed understood each and every lie and responded correctly to every question...and a sense of relief washed over us, that is hard to pass on to you in mere words...So I'll just say, Doug...Thank You for empowering us, to deal honestly and informed, with this process....To ANYONE out there, wondering if this system works...I can simply state unequivocally...THIS IS THE REAL DEAL....and Doug, himself, is the absolute undisputed king of how to sting back...
God Bless.
Dear Doug
Well, I am no longer the skeptical person I was when I
first purchased your
manual. I am the one who has a sister that has been falsely accused of child
abuse. She had already failed one polygraph when I found your web site and
ordered your manual. She took the second polygraph today and was soooo very
very nervous---scared actually that the tester was going to know that she was
controlling things, such as her breathing and the stinger. Well, he did not
know--- and--- she passed. Thank you!!! Your manual gave her the confidence
to not only pass the polygraph but to also know exactly what the examiner was
doing---every step of the way. She has one more to pass and she is so looking
forward to taking this and getting on with her life. Doug, thank you. Your manual
and hearts desire to help innocent people prove their innocence with a machine that was
designed to make guilty the
innocent, has been a blessing. Thank you so much!
Doug,
Do you ever get tired of all the emails exulting
praise for you? I took my test yesterday and let me
just say that I am extremely grateful for your info
and so happy I found you on the web. Your info could
not have prepared me better. I took three rounds of
ten questions...after the first round, I was relaxed
and knew I was in control. And after it was over, I
didn't need to hear the results because I knew I had
aced it.
Thanks for your quick responses to my emails and
providing a most valuable service.
Doug:
Naturally, I had doubts about whether the technique would work, and
I was terribly nervous during the actual interrogation. However I'm a
true believer now, because I just got a letter saying I passed. I am
convinced that without your packet I would have failed miserably, and my
years of hard work would be flushed down the toilet. Thank you so much,
without you there would be nothing in my personal life that remained
personal, and my career would be ruined. You truly are a champion of
justice and civil liberties (or maybe you're just out to make a buck, but
either way it worked)!! I know they're worried about you, because one
question the examiner asked was whether I had ever looked up 'polygraph'
on the internet (not to worry, my response was shown to be truthful just
like all the rest). Keep it up.

Doug,
I bought your program 2 weeks ago, on a Thursday. I passed my test on the following
Monday. I was still nervous when I walked in to the office.
But, when the terrorist started doing everything you said he would do, I
started to get more comfortable. It was textbook. It went so good,
I thought I must have failed. But, when I got the phone call 5 days later,
saying I passed and I was hired, I felt like the world was lifted off my
shoulder. By the way, if you print this letter, I want everyone to know that I
did lie on the test. The program didn't help someone with just a bad case of the
nerves, it helped someone who out and out lied on two questions. They were not
serious infractions, but I knew I had to lie. I can't thank you enough.
You helped me get my dream job.
Doug:
I passed!!!!
Thanks Doug! This is awesome!
Mr Williams:
I had my polygraph as scheduled.... I had the time of my life playing the ignoramus in front of the skilled electronic "interrogator" operator. I must say that I was a bit nervous at first, but when he showed me the stim test results, I silently knew that I had called his bluff. The rest was just a confidence exercise.
Thanks a lot Doug I passed the test! I will now be a cop in my local town
Doug:
I can't thank you enough, Doug, for your help. My polygraph was a complete success! It went just as you said it would. I applied the techniques, and wham! I "was completely truthful", according to the tester. Again, I can't thank you enough.
Doug:I passed the polygraph test! I have to thank you for that - your "manual" is absolutely fantastic! You are a prince and all that and more! The gentleman who gave me the test said he can write a letter stating I passed strongly and blah, blah, blah. Thanks so much. You should put a higher price on your manual.
Doug:
You are helping people everywhere with your publication and your willingness to help anyone who needs you. I was so nervous and scared about passing the polygraph, I had really no hope until I read your manual. I found websites that said the polygraph is nearly foolproof and all sorts of crap, but those were all lies. You are the one site that tells the real story and even offers a solution. I e-mailed you, 3 times, and you were always there to reassure me, and answer my questions. I was able to pass the test (despite my heart pounding a million miles per hour nearly the entire time!) and I want to thank you so much! If you publish this on your site, I want everyone to know Doug is for real, and that ANYONE can pass the polygraph. I was so afraid the polygrapher would be able to tell I was pulling something, but he had no clue whatsoever. Thanks Doug! (please leave my name off of this if you publish this on your site.
Doug: I took a polygraph test about a theft from work. I told the truth but was called a liar. I demanded a re-test, and got on the net and found your site. I downloaded the manual at 3:00AM, studied it for about two hours and took the test this morning. This same polygrapher now says his computer showed a probability of deception at .013% - he said that was almost perfect. He was amazed and seemed confused. I wasn't, I was almost laughing. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. You sure saved me.Hi Doug,
I took my polygraph test today and the techniques outlined in your manual
worked to perfection. After studying the materials and wish a little
practice, I passed with flying colors. The only comment the examiner made
was that he had the easiest time determining that I was telling the truth of
anyone he had previously tested. The manual was well worth the money.
Thanks Again.
Doug:
This is for your testimonial page: BELIEVE IT! If keeping your job, or getting a better job depended on beating the boss at tennis, would you consider that fair? Probably not. Especially if you didn't know any of the rules of tennis, (how to keep score, how to win the serve, etc.). The same applies to a polygraph. IT'S JUST A GAME. With this booklet you learn the rules of the game AND learn how to tilt the odds in your favor. And Doug, (the person who always calms your fears), I can't thank you enough for my success. Being forced to take a polygraph in order to keep my job was the most absurd thing I've ever experienced. I was certain I wouldn't do well on the test, and as a result I'd lose my career and my retirement, (15 years I've worked for this company). I applied the principles in your booklet and was able to "sting" two different polygraphs. You truly saved my career. THANK YOU.
Doug,
YOU MADE MY DAY. I finally passed the polygraph! After telling the TRUTH and
still FAILING two consecutive
pre-employment polygraphs, I didn't know where to turn. I did some research on
the internet and thankfully came across your site.
Although I was skeptical at first, I decided to order. I can honestly say that
it was the best $50.00 I have ever spent. It made me
realize that just telling the truth meant absolutely nothing without being in
control. You put me in the driver's seat and I WON.
Thanks Again!
P.S They even played the number game with me. I played right along!!! Guess
yah can't play a player when you know the game!!!!!
Doug:
I purchased your guide, and successfully "stung" the Polygrapher. Your method is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone facing the polygraph examination.
Doug:
I'm writing just to let you know, " I stung them", thanks to your manual...and I do appreciate you e-mailing me back... Your manual was worth twice the price...thanks again...
My husband was required to take a polygraph exam for a position as a
firefighter.
He had nothing to hide, he already told them everything, but he was nervous
and I had heard about the unreliability of the polygraph so I searched the
web. Thank God I found your web-site and I ordered your publication for
him. He read it over and practiced everything you said. He starts his new
job as a firefighter, his dream, at the end of the month. He says that
everything was like you said.
Thank you, Doug, for publishing your manual.
Doug:
I just wanted to let you know I passed! Thank you for all your help. I would happily recommend your manual to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Doug:
I just wanted to "THANK YOU" for giving me the confidence I needed to
pass this test. Yes, I PASSED!!! "Thank You"
Doug:
I passed my test with flying colors, thanks to your manual. I was just bragging to my friends that that was the wisest $50.00 investment I have ever made. Thank you!
Doug:
I just wanted to tell you I just passed my pre-employment polygraph test for the FBI. I now know that even though I was telling the truth, without your help I would have been crucified. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your information, your help, and for what you are doing.
God bless you!
Doug:
Thank you tons for your great advice! I passed with
flying colors. I was extremely nervous...I stayed up
all night freaking out about the whole thing and then
my heart was pounding the whole time I was in the
chair. I followed your steps and ...no problems.
I can't believe they base peoples careers on that piece
of crap.
Anyway, I am extremely grateful that you decided to
help all of us poor polygraph induced souls!
Thanks again.
Doug:
I PASSED!!!
YOUR MANUAL GAVE ME THE CONFIDENCE I NEEDED TO PASS THE TEST. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I WOULD
RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS TO TAKE THE POLYGRAPH.

Doug:
I wanted to thank you for the information you provided.
The manual was informative and, just wonderful !
It was exactly as you said! When he stopped me and asked me about the
control questions....well I was reassured. I then followed your advice...to
the strictest letter...regarding the "between you and me"....and then not
asking him how I did. I read your book at least 15 times thoroughly...to feel
confident..
Thank you again....and of course he reported that I was entirely truthful!
He seemed so confident, since the polygrapher had been doing this for some 30
years along with his detective work.
Please accept my humble thanks for your book , which is worth any amount ,
when these troubles come.
All the best.
Doug:
Your book works 100%.
DOUG:
I FAILED TWO POLICE PRE-EMPLOYMENT POLYGRAPH TESTS FROM THE SAME EXAMINER BUT I TALKED THE
CHIEF INTO LETTING ME TRY ONE MORE TIME. THE CHIEF AGREED EVEN THOUGH THE POLYGRAPH
EXAMINER SAID I HAD A 70% PROBABILITY OF DECEPTION, (HE HAD A COMPUTERIZED MACHINE AND
THAT'S WHAT THE SCORE WAS ON BOTH TESTS).
AFTER I PURCHASED YOUR MANUAL AND STUDIED IT THOROUGHLY, (AND THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME
TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS), I TOOK TEST NUMBER THREE. THIS TIME THE EXAMINER TOLD ME THAT I
HAD SCORED A .01% PROBABILITY OF DECEPTION. I TOLD HIM I WAS PROBABLY JUST NERVOUS ON THE
FIRST TWO, HE SAID HE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT BUT THAT HE WAS CERTAIN I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH
THIS TIME. I GOT THE J0B, THANKS TO YOUR MANUAL, AND YOUR HELP. THANKS AGAIN.
Doug:
I have been in law enforcement for 14 years, and because of your manual and your help I was able to move to another agency that requires pre-employment polygraph tests. I could not have done it without you and I thank you very much. I know you probably get a lot of negative stuff from a lot of polygraphers, but I'm here to tell you, " You're doing the right thing brother".
Doug:
Just wanted to say THANK YOU so much. I just found out I passed my
polygraph test I took yesterday morning. I was one of those people that found out
the hard way that just telling the truth doesn't mean you will pass the polygraph.
As soon as I found out I failed my first attempt I went online to find out more about this
machine that was keeping me from my dream job. I downloaded the material within minutes
after reading through your site. I followed your instructions and stung the polygraph. I
passed with flying colors. It was the best money I ever spent. Thank you so much!!
I highly recommend to anyone that is going to take a polygraph test to order your
material.
Doug,
After being scheduled to "reappear" for the third time in as many
months for another inquisition, I was desperate. I was skeptical when
I ran across your website.
Doug, I am a believer! I recommend your publication to everyone.
Because it was my third time back, the list of questions was
narrowed. I immediately keyed on the control question and followed
your instructions. The first two sessions lasted about four hours
each. This session was over in about 60 minutes even accounting for
the usual BS. The examiner even used the word passed ... I could hardly keep a straight
face.
Thanks again.
Doug:
Thank you for your service and your honesty. I've passed your address on to others that have been sent into anxiety attacks or forced to lose their rights.
Doug:
Two suggestions for future purchasers of your manual: 1.) Don't
think
for one moment that your manual is not worth the investment, it is. 2.)
If you think you can pass without the "sting" forget it because I was
one of those honest people a few years ago that thought that my
integrity would prevail over a machine. I still have my integrity but
this time I was intelligent enough to know that your manual had to be
followed in order to play their game.
THANK YOU!!!
Doug:
I bought your manual over six months ago and yesterday for the first time I was able to put it to the test. You were so right about everything! The examiner boosted of his 25 years of experience and his work with law enforcement agencies. He told me how scientific the polygraph is. He told me that when you lie you use more energy than when you tell the truth and that he could measure the energy that my body was using. He continued to go on about the polygraph with additional technical jargon. What a crock! The polygraph is the biggest joke and you helped me figure it out. I could not wait to send you a message telling you how much I appreciate the information that you have provided. I almost waited too long in life to pursue my career in law enforcement because of my fear of the polygraph. It's not that I was trying to hide anything major, it was just the fact of the matter. I'm an honest, upstanding citizen but I do enjoy my privacy and I will continue to enjoy it now that I have read your manual. I have to admit I felt as though I was taking a big chance by applying your techniques. But it paid off, I stung the polygraph and I'm proud of it. I hope that you get rich selling this material because for once I paid for something that actually worked. Thanks, thanks, thanks! Sincerely, Poly Stinger
Hey Doug, thanks for your help with the polygraph. I've read,
re-read, and
studied "How to Sting the Polygraph", and even called you once. I took the
exam today and the whole process was just as you said it would be. I mean,
what a joke!!! Before the exam, he spent approximately an hour
"convincing" me how true the polygraph is and the impossibility of anyone
out-smarting it. I completely agreed (hehe)!
I just wanted to tell you personally, THANKS! I was assured I was completely
truthful according to the polygraph. (which I was anyway, but I didn't allow
the polygrapher or polygraph exam be biased against me.)
Thanks again,
Dear Doug,
As I told you , I passed my polygraph on the first
try! Like you said in the manual the polygraph test is a joke. I never
believed it would be so easy I ALMOST LAUGHED IN THE MAN'S FACE "I
CONNED A CONNED MAN"!!!! If anyone has a test coming up, and feel for any
reason you might fail, get Doug's manual and believe me you will pass. That is
what I would say to any one I know!!!
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!
Doug:
I did 'Just do it!' and I need to take this moment to thank you for
the
wonderful document that you have out there.
I got an arrogant, abrasive, rude and larger than life polygrapher. This
man barked he did not speak. He told me that the test was 98% accurate
and that it was and still is the greatest test of a persons Autonomic
nervous Responses. He used the technique of giving me a horrendous
fright by slamming his fist down on the desk at a moment when I was
meant to be looking away. This man was well and truly STUNG.
It was great, it was even greater Stinging a man that has such an over inflated opinion of
himself.
Once again Thank You.
Dear Doug:
I got called for my polygraph 1 week early. When I got there the polygrapher
did just about everything you said he might. By that time I had read your book
and talked to you on the phone several times. I did not have anything much to
hide but what I did, was my business.
The poly examiner went through great detail how good his machine was, and even
did the number trick. When I was done I shook the examiners hand and told him how
impressed I was. I was also able to see his chart for a moment, and saw many numbers
marked on my chart. I
think he was keeping some kind of score because the numbers never went higher
than 12.
After failing 2 other tests and talking too much, I was able to get the job I
wanted. I would like to thank you for your help over the past few weeks . Your book was
inexpensive and will pay for itself a million times over.
Thanks
Doug
You Rule! I bought it, I used it, it worked. I can't thank you enough. Many happy returns.
Mr. Williams,
Your book was great and well worth the price for the courage you have shown.
I have passed your site on to others that have ordered your book. I pray
your message is able to get to those in need. Your name should be right up
there with Peter Newfield, the DNA expert that has saved so many wrongly
accused. You make a difference in human freedom.
Doug, Just thought I'd drop you a line to say thanks for your help!!
I passed it with flying colors!! The examiner, from what I was told,
flunks nine out of ten prospects that the Agency tries to hire!! I wasn't
nervous and I stung the hell out of the examiner!! I start the Academy in
January!
Doug;
I stung it! Thx for the help with this
Orwellian Instrument. Chalk up another W!
Dear Doug,
I bought the book and stung the test.....You don't know how grateful I am to
you and I will tell everybody I know in southeast Texas how you helped me
save my career.
Thanks a million and if I can do anything for you PLEASE CONTACT ME ANYTIME!!!
THANKS A
MILL!!!!!!!!!
Doug,
I purchased your publication after I found out I was going to have to take a
polygraph test at work. I was hesitant at first, but it was money well
spent. I stung the polygraph so hard that day! Everything you said in the
book is true. I was able to make that machine do exactly what I wanted.
The examiner was kind enough to leave the room for a moment and left the list
of questions in plain view, so I was able to quick study and find the control
question I was going to react to. I reacted, he asked me more and I fessed
up to a petty issue from years ago. He made a big point of saying there were
no mirrors or other people observing, but I did discover someone hiding in
the bathroom, eavesdropping! Like you say, nothing is ever "off the record",
even though he must have told me that several times in a pathetic attempt to
interrogate me.
The polygraph is a complete joke! No one should worry one second about
having to take one, especially if he/she reads your book!
Doug:
Thank you for the information provided in the manual. Without the
knowledge
you gave me I would have been a wreck. I passed with ease!
Doug:
I just wanted to inform you that I took my polygraph last month and
passed with flying colors. Everything you said was exactly the way it was,
with the exception of the card trick or the number guessing. The
polygrapher did not do either.
The reason I purchased your book was because of the stories I had heard
about the polygraph. Some of my friends had taken the polygraph and failed,
they told me that they were telling the truth and some of them I knew
wouldn't lie.
I read your book at least 20 times and practiced almost everyday before the
test. After the polygraph I looked at the chart, it was almost identical
to your book. I did exactly what you said and I had no problems. I did not
lie, but like you said I didn't want the joke to be on me.
I think I over did it on the control question, because it was
practically off the chart. I just walked out and laughed when it was over.
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you and tell you it was the best
$45 I ever spent.
Thanks!
Dear Doug:
I am currently a police officer of 8 years with an immaculate background (down right
boring actually) and an impeccable reputation. I tried three times to get a job with
another law enforcement agency and was rejected all three times based on a polygragh exam.
I then came across your book and decided to try it. What did I have to lose at this
point? Anyway, I tried a fourth time. With what you taught me, I didn't just
"pass" the exam, I stung that terrorist . Even with all the
emotional baggage of failing past exams, I was in COMPLETE CONTROL. I start in
April.
God Bless You Doug.

Doug,
Just returned from taking both Polygraph's. I passed ! Thank God I prepared
using your pamphlet. It worked just as you said. Thanks.
Doug,
I wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I had a polygraph
test today and passed it with flying colors. Thanks for your help. Before I
left the
examiner showed me my scores and he said that they were a thing of beauty and
shook my hand. I conned the con man.
Thanks
Doug:
I have not been at your website for some time but since I passed my exam
last week (thanks to you) I decided to read the comments of others. As I
read them I was not surprised as to how many people have been helped by
you. The list keeps growing since I first found your site many months ago.
I couldn't help but think as I read all of those letters that people are
coming out to tell their stories not just because of their success in
passing but it also demonstrates how many people out there are so
devastated by polygraphs. When I first was "crushed" three years ago I
felt so isolated. Now I read the letters and I think, "God, that was me
too!" All the pain, humiliation, and self-doubt caused by the test.
You are right, this is not just an industry, it is an industry that has
destroyed many lives. How many more are out there that haven't found
your website and are suffering in silence from embarrassment like I once was.
Thank you again for "showing the light". You have brought closure to a
great deal of pain caused by an industry that seeks to destroy its fellow Americans.
Take Care and God Bless
Doug:
Your document on 'How to Sting the Polygraph" was right on queue just like you said. First off I would like to say, "Not only do you get your money's worth, but free "tech - support" to boot." ... what a confidence builder that was. For me, Tech-support was truly the best part of your service. I passed !!!!!!!!!
Thank You Doug!!
Doug:
You're the MAN!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!
A soon to be cop.
Dear Doug,
I got the manual and I read the web page version of it. I found it
was all that I hoped for. I don't know what I would have done had it
not been for your goodness and understanding. As a person that got
slammed by it - I want to personal thank you for being on our side.
"THANK YOU!"
I don't feel that what your doing is wrong in fact it is wrong that
people are still put under this crap! I can't thank you enough for
giving me not only my peace of mind and understanding, but also my
freedom which I thought was so cherished in this country.
Keep up the fight Doug, I'm behind you in everywhere!!!!!!!!
GOD BLESS!
Doug,
Your technique worked perfectly, the polygrapher I had did all the same exact, I mean
exact, things you told me he would do. What a scam that machine is, and how that so
called science has preyed on the ignorance of unsuspecting Americans, but thank god, not
me!
Mr. Williams
I am writing to thank you for your insight into the world of
polygraphy. I have been in law enforcement for 7 years and have taken
both pre-employment and for cause tests in the past with mixed results..
Your explanation of how the device works and what affects the device was
very informative.
I recently (two weeks ago) returned from working overseas with
military intelligence counter narcotics unit in Panama Central America
and was required to take a pre-employment test by the sheriff's dept for
which I applied upon my return. You would be surprised (or maybe not)
the questions and context of the questions that were asked of me.. I am
basically a "good" person with no past to be worried of, however I found
myself concerned that my employment (thus my future in this dept) rested
solely on one person's interpretations of my physical reactions to absurd
questions.
Well, to make sure that I keep this short....... The test went fine and
I am again employed full-time as a deputy sheriff, thanks to your
information and technique.
So, again .....thanks for the information, it was well worth the cost,
to enter this "examination" with-out fear of miss-interpretation of my
answers.
ecilop (police backwards)
Thanks for the response, Doug. I took my "test" today and passed it with flying
colors! What a joke it was!! The polygrapher tried to convince me that the devices he
attached to my fingers measured "Brain Processing Time," and that he could
measure the amount of time it took my brain to register an answer to a question (his
theory was, the higher my BPT, the more likely I was lying!! He actually spent about 15
minutes explaining this theory to me (obviously to intimidate me). Gee, measuring brain
waves through fingertips-- a medical wonder!!
Thanks for all your help and confidence in this ridiculous process. If the chance
ever comes up, I'll recommend your download without hesitation.
Thanks again,
Doug:
Courage has been defined by far greater men than me as "not the
absence of fear but of
knowing the risks and doing the courageous thing rather than take the
easy way". You said in your book that you have the dubious distinction
of being the only licensed polygrapher to ever blow the whistle on the
so called lie detector. Just remember "Eagles Don't Fly In Flocks They
Come One At A Time". Keep up the good work. "They have ears but they
hear not". Thanks Again
Doug,
I imagine, my circumstance for purchasing your manual is a bit different
than most folks. I'd like to share the reason with you. A brief history
first: I've worked for one defense contractor or another since 1978. In
1985, I was granted access to highly classified material. One of the
requirements for this access was that I had to agree to be polygraphed at
some future date. Okay, fine!
November, 1994 - My current job is solely based on my retaining "access".
If I lose it, I lose my job. I was suddenly scheduled to take a polygraph
test. Again, my reaction was "Okay, fine!". I had no problem with that at
all. Since I knew I had done nothing wrong, I figured I'd be in and out of
there in no time. This, being my first polygraph, and having nothing to
prepare me, I had no idea of what the next 5 months of my life were going
to be like.
Well, to make a potentially LONG story shorter, I'll just touch on the high
points. I was made to endure a total of 5 examinations over a 5 month
period. These sessions were NOT my idea of a good time! Finally, after the
5th. session (and by that time, 3 different examiners), they determined
that I was not a threat to National Security, and passed me. I didn't lose
my access, or my job.
During the 5 months, I was not allowed to discuss the examinations with
anyone, I felt absolutely helpless and alone. This WAS without exception,
the lowest point in my entire life. I was literally, a "basket case",
emotionally. I didn't know why I appeared to be "deceptive" to them, nor
how to get "them" to believe what I knew to be the truth. I was talking
with God a whole lot during all of this. After all, I was scared to death,
and he was to only one I could talk to.
This episode has haunted my mind ever since. Now, after being away from
"that world" for about 4 years, my "access" is in the process of being
renewed. This is conjuring up all of those fears of the dreaded past. I'm
not so sure I could go through that again.
I got on the web and did a search on "polygraph". I accessed a site about
FBI applicants being dumped over failed pg's, and then your site. After
reading everything on yours, I decided to purchase your manual. I've read
through the entire manual once today. And, I've got to tell you, even if I
never have to take another polygraph test again, You believe you have
provided me with the knowledge I need to help heal my emotional wounds!
And, if I do have to take another test, at least I'll be prepared this time.
Thanks again!
Thanks a million Doug! I took bought your info and
successfully passed the
polygraph test to be accepted in to the fire department. I
couldn't have done it with out you. You 'da man!!
Huge thanks
Dear Doug:
Thanks for breaking the code of professional silence and for making
your pamphlet available; it was well worth the price and was still a
bargain. I have twenty-five years on the job, an empty IA file, and a
personnel file full of commendations and yet the polygraph was what
stood between me and a new career. I saw the "60 Minutes" interview
that you did a few years back and understood just how arbitrary the
polygraph test could be. When I was told that I would have to take a
pre-employment polygraph test for a new job, I looked you up on the
internet and purchased your pamphlet.
Your pamphlet covered everything that I faced during the polygraph
test, right down to the card tricks. The interviewer was very thorough
and took an hour and a half to cover the pre-test questions and
explain the equipment. The polygraph room was cold, small, and thread
bare with nothing on the walls. The examiner ran five tests using
variations of the same twelve to fifteen questions, but he only ran
his control question (the card trick), once as he was so pleased with
how "responsive" I was. The examiner congratulated me at the end of
the test on having passed. I thanked him, exchanged pleasantries, and
left quickly resisting the temptation to punch him out. How can
polygraph testing, a business based on fraud be legal ??? I did a
brief internet search and found that the federal government is the
primary trainer and employer of polygraph examiners and the private
business sector is still alive and well, despite minimally restrictive
legislation. For the people in this industry to believe that the ends
justify the means, is something that I find unconscionable and
infuriating, and is just another reminder of how vulnerable our rights
are when left to politicians to secure.
Sincerely,
Doug:
Well I said I'd e-mail you when I got through and here it is. I
passed with
flying colors. The examiner did everything you said he would. He said things
like this is the state of the art computerized polygraph, and that there is
no 99.9% truth just 100% truth or lie...hehe. After he said that he found
nothing to halt my appointment to the academy, he asked if there were any
questions that I had anything to ask about. I said that a few questions
struck home with me do to previously discussed incidents that happened to
me. Now get this, this is the funniest part, as I named the
questions (control questions) he got a very confident look on his face. I
guess he saw the reaction on the "computerized test". He then contradicted
himself after the test by saying HE (not the computer as he explained before
the test) had found nothing dishonest, and that two others must concur with
the findings after examining it themselves. So much for the 100% deal with
the computers. I thank you so much for sharing your insight with the public.
Everything you said was right on.
Hopefully one day they will get rid of this device and stop
scoping people with a contraption that is only good for taking vital signs.
If it means anything, I by no means committed any horrible crimes. However I
wanted to be on the safe side when it came to the questions that even though
I never did, if read false would be a major embarrassment.
Dear Mr. Williams,
I was one of those 50% or so truthful people that really got spanked by this
test two years ago. Ever since that horrible experience I have been terrified
of this "highly accurate lie detector".
I purchased your manual and studied it thoroughly, even trained with a pal.
Today I stung this examiner that claimed his "high-tech computerized lie
detector" was the end all be all of deception detection. While listening to
15 min worth of techno talk like databases, ram, etc. all I could think of was
that this was all gibberish. I thank you for the assistance in passing this "trial by
ordeal".
Sincerely,
Dear Doug:
Well, I took my polygraph on October 22nd and passed with flying
colors.
I was scared to death, but managed to keep my cool.
The polygraph said that a passing score is a +6 and I had a +16, so I
guess that's pretty good. I want to thank you for your help!!

Doug,
That polygraph was very good at his con, (it was for a Federal job, the "big boys" if you know what I mean.) By the time you were done with me, he was no match. I beat him up so badly it was hard not to start laughing. He did everything, the money in the envelope trick, ( By the way I hit him so perfectly there, he was a goner before we even started!) His exact words were, Mr. X, you are an excellent polygraph (subject), it will work on you 100% of the time." That is when I knew he was mine. By the end of the exam, he was tearing paper off the machine like a mad man, throwing his pen, and we went over the questions 7 times. He even tried reverse psych. on me. He reached to the extent of showing me the graphs saying, "Here I asked you about ( relevant question) and you reacted higher than I liked to see. Why are you lying? Well after I read your stuff I know how to look at a chart and that there was only one reaction on there and it surely was not done on the question he just lied about. I then used your post-test strategy and wiped him up.
Everything here is exactly what happens:
Step 1: You find out your going to take a polygraph, ( for what ever reason. In my case it was a Federal job.)
Step 2: You panic, because you have never taken one and have no idea of how ridiculous they really are. (Don't kid yourself even the most truthful person will fail if you don't know what to expect!)
Step 3: You start looking for information on a polygraph everywhere, library, asking friends, what ever you can....then you find Doug! If you're reading this right now you're on exactly the right track. So try to stop worrying!
Step 4: Now your contemplating on does it work and should I spend the money? Let me help you...Don't be foolish!....order "How to Sting the Polygraph" NOW!
Step 5: Read the document at least three times, and practice. "I practiced for two days about 2 hrs total for both days. This is to feel comfortable with the Stinging Technique.
Step 6: Still a little uncomfortable... e-mail Doug!
Step 7: Pass your polygraph!!!! Hip, Hip, Hurray.
Step 8: Feel dumb for worrying.
==============================
I wanted to say thank you for your help!
I PASSED now everyone believes me. I wish
I would have met you 8 months ago.
Take care
Dear Mr. Williams:
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
I just got home from taking my polygraph exam, and I am proud to say I HAVE FINALLY
PASSED.
In the past 5 years, I have taken 2 other polygraph exams and failed both of them until
today. Everyone who knows me would agree that I am an honest and sincere individual, yet I
could not pass any of my pre-employment poly exams. But thanks to your "Sting"
Manual I finally beat a con at his own game.
It was just amazing to me how I was in total control of the Tracings. And I found it
rather interesting that he decided to asked me so many questions (30 rather than 10) but
even so, once I sat down I felt very confident.
And by the way, he did exactly what your Manual says he would do before-during-and after
the test. But I did not allow his sneaky tricks to affect my concentration and my goal. I
even made the mistake of reacting to two "Control" questions instead of just one
but I was prepared enough to explain my "reactions" and I still passed.
The money I spent on this Manual was one of the best investments I have ever made.
I cannot thank you enough for your help.
You really are a great man and I do admire you for telling the truth about the
lie-detector world.
I only wish I would have purchased the "Sting" manual 5 years ago before I took
my first Polygraph exam.
I honestly cannot express how thankful I am to you and your book.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Geez, where do I start? I guess I should start with saying thank you
so very much. I wish I would have known about this manual sooner. I have been trying to
get on a P.D. for quite sometime now and never could make it through this disturbing
regiment they put you through. I must say I'm a good, honest guy. I've never done anything
off the wall to make myself a hard-core criminal. Heck, probably the worst thing I ever
did was shoplift a CD when I was in college. Still, this test, or "Drill" as I
would call it drove my insides crazy enough to fail, that is, until I read your
manual.
Anyway, let me get to the subject at hand. They called me
and told me I had to be there at exactly 10am. That I should be prompt and on time.
I arrived just to be safe at 9:50. They gave me a few minutes to fill out a questionnaire,
then asked me to have a seat.
Doug, they called me in at 11:30! They made me wait and sit there all that time.
No magazines, no literature to read, just awards and plaques on the wall stating
how valid this machine was. If I didn't know any better, I would think they did this
on purpose. Whatever, I just stuck to my plan. I was then called in by a fairly
young man that talked way too fast, in my opinion. He introduced himself and began
the process with me. After the basic hoo haa of the relevant and control questions, I knew
what I had to do to sting this guy... I did just that. He finished the questions and told
me the test was over. Here's where it gets weird Doug. He began undoing the
tubes and blood pressure strap and replied, "well, you had no problems passing
the test. THE POLYGRAPH IS A JOKE ANYWAY." I kept the most puzzled look on my face as
possible and made pretend I didn't hear what he had said. I had a suspicion that the
camera and tape recorder were still on and he was trying to manipulate me into saying
something incriminating. I just did what you said. I thanked him, shook his hand and left
the office as if I just won the lottery.
Thanks again Doug.
To Whom It May Concern;
I had downloaded your manual several months ago in preparation for an upcoming pre employment polygraph test. I had made some mistakes way back in my past that I know would exempt me from the job I was seeking.
I am a very skeptical person. I reviewed your web site thoroughly and read all those testimonials. I was not sure if your claims were BS or not. I did not know if your techniques or any for that matter could beat a polygraph. Finally, I never, and I mean never, purchased any item over the internet. As I said, I am very skeptical and cautious.
After great consideration, I decided to chance it. I was very desperate and felt that it was worth a shot. I initially downloaded the manual and I somehow screwed up the download and did not get a complete copy. I immediately e-mailed you with my concern and I received a prompt reply and you instructed me on how to re-download the manual.
I reviewed the manual thoroughly and repeatedly until I became confident of your words and your techniques, and most all, myself. I even called you a week before my polygraph test to ask when exactly I should manipulate my reaction to the control question. I must tell you that I was happily surprised when I was able to have you walk me through each step. You can't imagine how much that meant to me and what a confidence booster you gave me. You made me believe that I could pass the polygraph.
Well, the big day finally came. I had memorized and practiced your instructions repeatedly. I felt prepared to handle any technique that the polygraph operator could throw at me. As I sat in his office, I could see all the certificates he had acquired from various polygraph instruction courses. As it turned out, the polygraph operator was also a teacher. When I queried him on what he instructed, he replied that he instructed a course in polygraph and lie detection at the nearby university. I must say that his answer almost sunk me.
After the pre-test interview, the operator hooked me up and connected me to his computer. I prepared my body and my mind. Lucky for me I was well prepared mentally prior to the test. I passed without a hitch.
I cannot relate to you enough, the gratitude I have for you and your manual. You pulled my butt out of the fire. You were true to your word. You were easily accessible by e-mail which I feel puts your publication well above anything that may be available. I will definitely recommend your download to any of my friends who find themselves facing a polygraph. You may publish this letter on your web site, but please do not use my name.
Thanks, again.
Dear Doug,
A couple of weeks ago I ordered your report "How to sting the
Polygraph". My
wife was ordered to take the polygraph at her job. (Law Enforcement) She was
pretty worried about it. I know how she feels because I know how the Polygraph
works (mechanically) and knowing the way I think, I would fail it. We both are
very truthful people. I know that if I answered a question truthfully and just
thinking that the technician might think that he thinks I might be lying
would make me set the thing off. Just knowing the way I would react, I know
the Polygraph is a useless machine. I haven't had a chance to fully read your
report but my wife wanted me to write and tell you she passed with flying
colors. From what she was telling me about it, it was conducted exactly the
way you explained.
Sincerely, A satisfied customer

HERE'S ONE FROM A POLYGRAPH EXAMINER:
Doug Williams:
It's a shame that people like you have nothing better to do than try to
make a buck by talking about something you obviously don't know about.
The "staged" polygraph you mentioned in your ad doesn't tell the whole
story. This test was missing one important factor....."Fear." If there
is no fear factor, the polygraph doesn't work. Keep your day job!
Dear Frustrated Polygrapher:
It's always nice to hear pigs like you squeal - it tells me I'm getting to you. Keep those
letters coming. As to your statement about fear, that is exactly my point, the only power
you have is the fear and ignorance of your victims. When I remove that fear, as I do with
my manual, then you have no power and that's what bugs you. As to not knowing what I'm
doing you obviously know that isn't true or you wouldn't be so upset. Thanks for your
unsolicited letter of commendation!!! I would worry if people like you said something good
about me. Keep up your paranoia - I'm going to continue to teach people how to beat you
and your ridiculous machine.

HERE'S ANOTHER ANSWER TO THIS POLYGRAPHER:
Doug:
I know you probably know this a hundred times over but I thought I would share some
information with you especially since that letter from the polygrapher appeared on your
website questioning why you would offer such information on the polygraph.
I went down to an area university recently and I spoke with two
directors of the criminal justice and forensic science programs. The
c.j. director is an ex-federal agency man. Well we began talking about polygraphs and the
c.j. director laughed as did the forensic man. The comment made to me by the c.j.
professor was that there is no such thing as a polygraph and it is nothing more than
"b.s." He told the forensic guy that there is no such thing as a "lie
detector" and you might as well hook up to a suitcase. The forensic director holds a
Ph.D. in chemistry and he told me that the polygraph was 90% interrogation and the other
10% was sucking a confession out of the victim. I found that quite interesting from two
program directors who teach students who have been hired in all types of federal law
enforcement positions.
The only question I have is where were these guys a few years ago when I needed to hear
this. I guess a lesson learned late is better than a lesson not learned at all.
Thanks for the great job you are doing in educating the public.
Sincerely,
Joyce

I ALSO HEAR FROM A FEW UNFORTUNATE PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T BUY THE MANUAL.
Dear Doug,
Last summer I took the test for a police job. They told me that I failed the test because
of inconsistencies. The whole process took about 2 hours. It was the first test I ever
took and I was a wreck. At the first interview, I was one of the top candidates. Next
thing I know I was being asked to leave because I failed. No explanation or
anything. Now, I am afraid to apply for any other law enforcement job.
Dear Doug:
My name is XXXX and I took the polygraph at xxxxxx police
dept. about a year ago. I was told that I had failed my polygraph and that I could not be
hired there or in the state as a police officer ever in my life. They had black-balled me
from there and possibly
everywhere else. I was going to sue them but did not have the money. I had spent over
two-thousand dollars to go through their hiring process and then this happened.
Hi. My name is xxxxx, I am currently a Police
Officer, and have been for the past 7 years. I have been looking to relocate to Florida
and had an application at the XXXX P.D. I scored high on the written and oral exams,
with an overall score of 92. I took a polygraph test and was told that
I failed and denied employment. The test was conducted by a Det. XXXXand lasted for over
an hour in a very uncomfortable chair that, by the end of which, was causing severe pain
in my lower back. I was told by the recruiter that I showed "strong reactions"
in nine different areas. The areas included but were not limited to, taking drugs while on
duty, having sex while on duty, being in trouble at work, being fired from a job, lying on
my application, lying on the polygraph exam itself, and lying to the examiner.
Although Det. XXXX stated several times that he was not being "accusatory", I
sure felt he was! I objected to the findings of the polygraph, and emphasized that I had
not done any of the things I was accused of. I was told that I could take nine different
polygraphs on nine different days to go over the nine areas of question. That was not a
viable option as I would have to travel each time. I was also given the choice to
"withdraw" my application, but that would not mean that they would not inform
other Departments I had applied to that I failed the polygraph test.
Needless to say, I am extremely upset at their conclusions and feel
that I have been unfairly treated by the exam and examiner. Do I have any options at this
point? Please get back to me as soon as you can.
Thank you.
Doug:
I didn't run across this web page until after I took my polygraph test. They told me yesterday that I failed the test. I was scared to death when I went in to take the test, but I was completely honest. Yet I failed? My supervisor then gave me the option of resigning (if I didn't resign he was going to have to "terminate" me). I took the polygraph test for entry level police officer for a private agency, not a public agency. Is there anything I can do? After reading your web sight I have a little bit of hope left. I would love to order your book, but now as an unemployed single mother, I can't. Is there anything I can do legally to protect myself? Thank you very much...
Dear Mr. Williams,
My dream since I was a kid was to be a police officer. I
graduated from a accredited four year college with a bs in police
science. During that time I even joined the army reserves putting
myself through boot camp to make myself a more desirable police
recruit. I planned to serve on the force for ten years and work on
getting my phd to then teach college. After I graduated I applied to
the police force that I thought I wanted to be on. I first took the
entrance exam placing in the top percent, then the physical again
placing in the top percent. I was then given a background form by one of the detectives
who assured me that it was just a formality and to fill it out as honestly as I could. I
filled it out to the letter being as
thorough as I could and submitted to him a week later to have him
interview me. He began interviewing me asking me questions such as "have you ever
thought about raping your sister" I calmly told him no. Then he got to the part of
the questionnaire that asked have you ever smoked pot. I had filled out on the
questionnaire that I had in college 15 times and that it was only experimental. When he
got to this he flew into a rage telling me I was a liar and that he "knew" that
I had done more and was a "pothead". He also said that I was too big and was on
steroids. He quickly finished up the interview and told me that it was his recommendation
that I not be hired for the job for drug use. He also told me that my record was being
filed away and if I ever applied for another police job in the state that my questionnaire
would be pulled up and I would be denied employment He also told me that the FBI/NCIC
keeps a record of the questionnaire and that would follow me as well. I can't explain how
I felt after I left the building and the coming weeks.
I had my whole life planned and in the space of 2 hour's it was all
ruined. This was 1 year ago and I have not applied to another agency since.
Sincerely, Crushed Dreams
Dear Doug,
I just came across your web site, however, I think too late. I received a letter in June
of 1998, rescinding my offer for conditional employment in the FBI, because the results of
the polygraph "were not within acceptable parameters" This was my dream and I
lived my life accordingly, knowing the stipulations and guidelines for acceptance. This has
troubled me for so long,
I did not lie, nor would I take a 70% pay cut for the heck of it!
Doug:
I am writing this to say I didn't purchase your information
but wish I
had. I recently took a polygraph for a police officer position. I
visited your web site before hand and was intrigued by what you had to say. However, I
decided since I am a person of high integrity and honesty, that I wouldn't need to know
how to sting the polygraph. After all, that would be for someone who has something to
hide. Well, I took the polygraph and failed. I was completely truthful. To prove how
unreliable this machine is, the question asked which jammed me up was if I've ever
been arrested for anything other than what I may have already stated. I answered no. The
examiner said he got a reaction to that question and really hammered me about it. I
insisted that I've never been arrested, it is so easy for them to find out for sure, why
would I take the chance and lie if I had??? So that's my story. If I am ever in the
position to take a polygraph again, I will purchase your information.
Just because you are an honest person doesn't mean you will pass this "reliable
machine".

These unfortunate people have discovered the hard way that
honest, truthful people are often called liars by polygraphers. That's why I offer the
manual, so people can protect themselves. Unfortunately, law enforcement, government
agencies, and private security are exempt from the provisions of the Employee Polygraph
Protection Act, so there's nothing they can do now. I only wish they had
contacted me prior to their tests.
